Mr. Jules Roger Sauer's private collection of rough and cut gemstones was organized on a private museum in the famous Ipanema area, in Rio de Janeiro, and it is on display for the public viewing since 1989. The Museum is a "must" for visitors coming this city.

A typical scenery reproducing the atmosphere of mining sites leads you to replicas of emerald, aquamarine and tourmaline mines, the most representative Brazilian colored stones.
